Chemical Peels in Lahore

Physician-selected superficial and medium-depth peels for pigmentation, melasma, dullness and acne.

A peel is only as good as its selection. The same formulation that brightens one patient can trigger stubborn pigmentation in another, particularly on South Asian skin. We prescribe strength, agent and interval individually, almost always after a period of home priming, and we build depth gradually rather than chasing a dramatic single result.

Melasma and dark marks

Concern: Bilateral stubborn dermal melasma across upper cheeks and forehead

Timeline: Photographed at Day 0 vs Month 6
Downtime: Mild dry flaking for 2 days
Doctor's note: We calmed the pigment with prescription creams first, then added gentle peels. Going slowly is what stops melasma coming back darker.

Good Candidate Checklist

You are likely to benefit from this procedure if you present with:

  • Patients prepared to wear broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily
  • South Asian skin requiring gentle, non-aggressive melanogenesis inhibition

When We Honestly Decline

We will say no to treatment if:

  • Active dermatitis, eczema, or open cold sores
  • Upcoming beach holiday or heavy sun exposure within 2 weeks

Clinical Protocol & Execution

  1. 01

    Priming

Two to four weeks of prescribed home preparation to reduce pigmentation risk.

  2. 02

    Agent selection

Mandelic, salicylic, glycolic, lactic or TCA chosen for your concern and skin type.

  3. 03

    Controlled application

Timed layers with continuous monitoring of skin response.

  4. 04

    Course

Usually four to six peels at three-to-four week intervals.

Safety Standards

  • Priming is strongly advised on deeper skin tones to limit rebound pigmentation.
  • Not performed during pregnancy for certain agents, or on isotretinoin without a gap.
  • Avoided over active herpes simplex, eczema or broken skin.
  • Strict daily sun protection is a condition of treatment.

Aftercare Protocol

  • SPF 50 every morning, reapplied through the day.
  • Do not pick or pull at flaking skin.
  • Pause retinoids, acids and scrubs for one week.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and rich barrier moisturiser.
  • Avoid sauna, steam and hot yoga for five days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a peel make my melasma worse?
It can if it is too aggressive or unprimed. This is why we prime first and use conservative, repeated superficial peels.
How much will I peel?
Superficial peels usually cause light flaking only. Visible sheeting is uncommon in the protocols we favour.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
From the next day for superficial peels. We will give you specific guidance for medium-depth work.
